Getting There

• Public Transport

  If you are in downtown Kyoto, start by making your way to Kyoto Station. From there, take the Karasuma Subway Line (Green Line) towards Kokusaikaikan. Get off at the Shijo Station (5 stops). Once you exit the station, follow the signs to the Karasuma exit. You will find yourself on Shijo Street. Walk east along Shijo Street for about 10 minutes until you reach Kawaramachi Street. Turn left onto Kawaramachi Street and continue walking north for approximately 5 minutes until you reach the intersection with Maruyama Park. Mimizuka will be on your right side at 533-1 Chayacho, Higashiyama Ward.

• Walking

  If you are near Gion, you can walk to Mimizuka. Start at Gion Corner and head east along Hanamikoji Street. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Shijo Street. Cross Shijo Street and walk straight ahead. You will pass by some shops and restaurants. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Kawaramachi Street. Turn left and walk north for about 5 minutes. Mimizuka will be on your right at 533-1 Chayacho.

• Bus

  From Kyoto Station, take bus number 100 or 206 from the bus terminal in front of the station. Get off at the Gion bus stop (about 15 minutes). From there, walk towards Shijo Street and turn right. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Kawaramachi Street. Turn left and walk north for about 5 minutes. Mimizuka will be on your right at 533-1 Chayacho, Higashiyama Ward.
