Getting There

  • Train

    From Kyoto Station, take the Kintetsu Kyoto Line towards Nara. The train ride will take approximately 45 minutes. Once you arrive at Nara Station, exit the station and head toward the bus terminal located just outside the station.

  • Bus

    At the Nara bus terminal, look for the bus that goes to 'Isuien Garden' or 'Nara Park'. You can take bus number 70 or 72. The journey will take around 10-15 minutes. Get off at the 'Isuien Garden' bus stop, which is located very close to the entrance of the garden.

  • Walking

    After getting off the bus at the 'Isuien Garden' stop, walk towards the entrance of Isuien Garden, which is just a short walk of about 5 minutes. Follow the signs that direct you toward the garden, and you will find it at 74 Suimoncho.
