Getting There

  • Public Transport

    If you are near Kyoto Station, take the Karasuma Line subway towards Kokusaikaikan. Get off at Shijo Station (approximately 5 minutes). From Shijo Station, take Exit 1 and walk straight down Shijo Street until you reach the intersection with Karasuma Street. Turn left onto Karasuma Street and continue walking for about 5 minutes. Turn right onto Tamakuracho, and you will find Kyoto-Sushimaking located on the 2nd floor at 120-1 Tamakuracho.

  • Walking

    If you are staying in the Nishiki Market area, exit the market and head west on Nishikikoji Street until you reach Karasuma Street. Turn right and walk north for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Shijo Street. Turn left on Shijo Street and then turn right onto Tamakuracho. Kyoto-Sushimaking will be on the 2nd floor at 120-1 Tamakuracho.

  • Bus

    From Kyoto Station, board the city bus number 205 or 17, which are both heading towards Shijo-Kawaramachi. Get off at the Shijo-Kawaramachi stop (approximately 15 minutes). Once you disembark, walk north along Kawaramachi Street until you reach the intersection with Shijo Street. Turn left onto Shijo Street and then turn right onto Tamakuracho. Kyoto-Sushimaking is located on the 2nd floor at 120-1 Tamakuracho.
