Car
If you're driving from the city of Kyoto, take the Meishin Expressway and head towards Nara. Exit at the Nara IC. From the IC, follow the signs towards Nara city center. Continue on Route 369 and then Route 163, which will lead you directly towards Kasuganocho where Rokuen Park is located. The park's address is 160-1 Kasuganocho, Nara. Parking is available nearby, but be aware that parking fees may apply, typically around 500 yen for a few hours.

Public Transportation
For taking public transportation, start at Kyoto Station. Board the Kintetsu Nara Line and head towards Nara Station. The journey takes about 45 minutes. Once you arrive at Nara Station, exit the station and catch the Nara Kotsu bus (bus number 97 or 98) towards Kasuganocho. The bus ride will take approximately 15 minutes. Disembark at the Kasuganocho bus stop, which is a short walk from Rokuen Park. The total cost for this route will be around 800 yen for the train and 300 yen for the bus.
