  • Car

    If you are driving, start from central Settsu and head towards the Osaka-Kyoto Expressway (also known as the Meishin Expressway). Take the expressway towards Kyoto. Once you approach Kyoto, take exit 3 for Kyoto-Higashi. Follow the signs for Gionmachi. Continue on Gionmachi Kitagawa, and you will reach Five Shrines located at 625 Gionmachi Kitagawa, Higashiyama Ward, Kyoto.     To reach Five Shrines via public transportation, start at Settsu Station. Take the JR Kobe Line towards Osaka. Transfer at Osaka Station to the JR Kyoto Line, heading to Kyoto.
