From Shinano, take Route 117 heading towards Hakuba. Continue on Route 117 for approximately 30 km until you reach the junction with Route 148. Turn left onto Route 148 and continue for about 10 km. Follow the signs for Hokujo, Hakuba. Upon reaching Hokujo, look for signs directing you to Mt. Karamatsu, located at Hokujo, Hakuba, Kitaazumi District, Nagano 399-9301. Parking is available near the trailhead, but be aware that parking fees may apply.
