Getting There

  • Car

    If you're traveling by car, start by getting onto the Chuo Expressway (E20) from any point in Shinano. Follow the signs for Nagano and continue on the expressway for approximately 30 kilometers. Take the Otari Interchange exit (Exit 25) and follow the signs for Tsugaike Kogen Ski Resort. The resort is located about 15 minutes from the interchange. Be aware that parking fees may apply at the resort.

  • Public Transportation - Train and Bus

    For visitors using public transport, take a train from Shinano Station. Board the JR Oito Line towards Minami-Otari Station. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Minami-Otari Station, exit the station and look for the bus stop for the Tsugaike Kogen Shuttle Bus. The shuttle bus operates during the ski season and will take you directly to Tsugaike Kogen Ski Resort. The bus ride will take around 25 minutes. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance as service may be limited.
