    From Shinano, head west on Route 34 towards Nagano. Continue on this road until you reach the junction with Route 148. Turn right onto Route 148 and follow it for approximately 20 kilometers. As you approach the town of Otari, look for signs indicating Tsugaike Nature Garden. There is ample parking available at the Tsugaike Kanko Center, which serves as the main entrance to the nature garden.

    From Shinano Station, take the local train on the Oito Line towards Minami-Otari Station. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Minami-Otari Station, exit the station and walk to the bus stop located just outside the station. Board the bus heading towards Tsugaike Kanko Center.
