Getting There

  • Car

    From Omi, take Route 289 heading northwest towards Nagano. Follow Route 289 for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the junction with Route 148. Turn left onto Route 148 and continue for about 12 kilometers. You will then see signs for Happo Pond (Happo Ike). Follow the signs and park at the designated parking area at Happo-one Resort. Note: Parking fees may apply, typically around 1,000 yen for a day.

  • Public Transportation

    From Omi, head to Omi Station and take the JR Oito Line train towards Minami-Otari Station. This journey takes about 35 minutes. Once you arrive at Minami-Otari Station, transfer to the Happo Bus (Happo Kōgen Line) that goes directly to Happo-one Resort. The bus ride takes approximately 20 minutes. Be sure to check the bus schedule, as it may vary depending on the season. The bus fare is about 700 yen.
