If you're driving, start from Nanyuki town. Head east on the A2 road towards Embu for approximately 40 km. Look for the turn-off to Chogoria town and follow the road signs. Continue on this road until you reach the entrance of Mount Kenya National Park. Here, you may need to pay a park entry fee (around KSh 1,500 for non-residents) before proceeding. Follow the road further into the park. The road is well-marked; keep an eye out for signs directing you to Chogoria Roadhead Campsite. Follow the road until you reach the campsite, which is located at coordinates -0.1473872, 37.4034315.

To reach Chogoria Roadhead Campsite using public transportation, take a matatu (shared taxi) from Nanyuki to Chogoria town. The fare is typically around KSh 200. Once in Chogoria, you can hire a local taxi or a boda boda (motorcycle taxi) to take you to the Mount Kenya National Park entrance. Be prepared to pay an additional taxi fare, which can range from KSh 500 to KSh 1,000 depending on negotiation. Upon reaching the park entrance, pay the park entry fee (approximately KSh 1,500 for non-residents) and follow the signs to the campsite, which is about a 30-minute drive from the entrance.
