To get to the Congo Expedition at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium, start by finding the nearest bus stop to your current location in Columbus. Look for the COTA (Central Ohio Transit Authority) bus service. Board the bus that heads towards the zoo. If you're unsure which bus to take, ask the bus driver or check the COTA website for routes that stop at the zoo. The closest bus stop to the zoo is located on Powell Road. Once you arrive at the stop, walk towards the entrance of the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium, which will be well-signposted.

Bicycle
If you prefer to cycle, rent a bike from a local bike rental service. From downtown Columbus, head north on High Street until you reach W Powell Rd. Turn left on W Powell Rd and continue straight. Follow the bike path until you see signs for the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium. The zoo is located on your right-hand side. Make sure to obey all traffic signals and wear a helmet for safety.

If you are close to the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium, you can walk there. Head towards W Powell Rd by following local pedestrian pathways. Look for signage directing you to the zoo. The entrance will be on your right side once you reach W Powell Rd. It’s about a 20-30 minute walk from downtown Columbus, so wear comfortable shoes and enjoy the scenery along the way.
