Look for the COTA (Central Ohio Transit Authority) bus service. Board the bus that heads towards the zoo. If you're unsure which bus to take, ask the bus driver or check the COTA website for routes that stop at the zoo. The closest bus stop to the zoo is located on Powell Road. Once you arrive at the stop, walk towards the entrance of the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium, which will be well-signposted.

If you prefer to cycle, rent a bike from a local bike rental service. From downtown Columbus, head north on High Street until you reach W Powell Rd. Turn left on W Powell Rd and continue straight.
