If you are traveling by car, start from Cusco and take Route 3S towards Sicuani. Continue on this road for approximately 100 km until you reach the town of Sicuani. From Sicuani, take the road towards Checacupe and then head towards Pajchanta. The final destination is located at 6Q58+MX, Pajchanta 08001. Make sure to check your GPS for the precise location as there are limited road signs along the way.

To take public transportation, head to the main bus terminal in Cusco (Terminal Terrestre). Look for buses heading to Sicuani; these buses typically depart every 30 minutes. The bus ride to Sicuani takes about 2 to 3 hours and costs around 15 to 20 soles. Once you arrive in Sicuani, transfer to a colectivo (shared taxi) heading towards Pajchanta. The colectivo ride will take about 1 hour and cost approximately 10 soles. Upon reaching Pajchanta, you can either walk or hire a local guide for transportation to the 7 lagunas Ausangate, which is about 30 minutes away from the town.
