    From Cyangugu, head north on Road RN5 towards the border with the Democratic Republic of Congo. Continue for about 45 kilometers (approximately 1 hour). You will reach the town of Bukavu. Upon entering Bukavu, follow signs that direct you to Tshivanga, which is the main entrance to Kahuzi-Biega National Park. The park entrance is approximately 25 kilometers from Bukavu, which will take around 30 minutes by car. Be prepared for possible road fees along the way, which can vary, but generally will be around 1,000 to 5,000 Rwandan Francs.

    From Cyangugu, take a matatu (shared taxi) heading towards Bukavu. The journey will take about 1 hour and costs approximately 1,000 to 2,000 Rwandan Francs.
