If you are starting from the York Minster, head south on Minster Yard towards the intersection with Deangate. Turn right onto Deangate and continue straight until you reach the junction with Ogleforth. Continue onto High Petergate, then turn left onto Stonegate. Walk until you reach the junction with Lendal Bridge, cross the bridge over the River Ouse. Once you are on the other side, continue straight until you reach the intersection with St. Mary's. Turn left onto St. Mary's and follow the road until you come to the traffic lights at the junction with Hospital Fields Road. Turn right onto Hospital Fields Road and you will see the Millennium Bridge ahead.

From the York city center, you can catch a bus from the main bus station. Look for a bus that heads towards 'Fulford' or 'Derwenthorpe'. Get off at the stop on Hospital Fields Road. Once you get off, walk along Hospital Fields Road towards the Millennium Bridge, which will be visible a short distance ahead.

If you are cycling, start from the city center and head towards the River Ouse. Follow the riverside path southward until you reach the Millennium Bridge. The route is mostly flat and scenic, offering beautiful views of the river and surrounding areas. Once you reach Hospital Fields Road, the Millennium Bridge will be directly in front of you.
