Getting There

Car
If you are driving, start from the Mount Field Visitor Centre. Head southeast on Lake Rd toward the Lake Dobson Road. Continue on Lake Dobson Road for about 10 km until you reach the Lake Dobson car park. From there, follow the signs for the Lake Seal track. The track is well-marked, and the hike to Lake Seal lookout will take around 1-1.5 hours one way. Ensure your vehicle is parked in the designated parking area.

If you are using public transportation, take a bus from Hobart to Mount Field National Park. Once you arrive at the park, you will need to walk to the Visitor Centre. From the Visitor Centre, you can follow the same route as mentioned for cars.
