Car
If you're driving from Hida, head north on Route 158. Continue on this road for approximately 30 kilometers (about 45 minutes). You will pass through scenic mountain landscapes. When you reach the junction with Route 471, turn left and follow the signs for Hirayu Onsen Ski Area. After about 10 kilometers, you will arrive at the ski area. There is parking available on-site, which may incur a fee depending on the season.

Public Transportation
From Takayama Station, take the Nohi Bus bound for Hirayu Onsen. The bus ride takes about 50 minutes. Make sure to check the bus schedule as it may vary by season. Once you arrive at the Hirayu Onsen bus stop, the ski area is a short walk (approximately 10 minutes) uphill. Follow the signs towards the ski area. The bus fare is around 1,500 yen one way.
