Getting There

Train
If you are in Hiroshima city center, head to Hiroshima Station. From there, take the JR Sanyo Line towards Miyajimaguchi Station. The train ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Miyajimaguchi Station, exit the station and head towards the main road (Route 2). The Hiroshima Miyajima-guchi Tourist Information Center is about a 5-minute walk from the station, located at 1 Chome-11-1 Miyajimaguchi. Follow the signs towards the ferry terminal, and you will see the Tourist Information Center on your right.

Bus
You can also take a bus from Hiroshima city center. Look for the Hiroshima Electric Railway buses that go to Miyajimaguchi. Buses leave from various points in the city, including Hiroshima Bus Center. The journey takes about 45 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive at Miyajimaguchi, get off at the Miyajimaguchi stop. The Hiroshima Miyajima-guchi Tourist Information Center is a short walk from the bus stop, just head towards the ferry terminal and you will find it on your right at 1 Chome-11-1 Miyajimaguchi.

Ferry
If you are already on Miyajima Island, you can return to the mainland. Take the ferry from Miyajima back to Miyajimaguchi. The ferry terminal is located close to the Itsukushima Shrine on the island. The ferry ride takes about 10 minutes. Upon arriving at Miyajimaguchi, you will be right near the Hiroshima Miyajima-guchi Tourist Information Center, which is about a 5-minute walk from the ferry terminal. Simply follow the signs towards the center.
