Public Transportation
If you are starting from Hitachi Station, take the JR Joban Line to Ueno Station. This journey will take approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Ueno Station, exit the station and head towards the Ueno Park area. Follow the signs to Ueno Park, and as you enter the park, Ueno Campus of Tokyo University of the Arts will be located at 12-8 Uenokoen, about a 10-minute walk from the park entrance.

From Hitachi, get onto the Joban Expressway (E6) heading towards Tokyo. Continue on the expressway for about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Take the exit toward Ueno from the E6, and follow the signs to Ueno Park. Once you reach Ueno Park, you can find parking nearby. After parking, walk towards the Ueno Campus of Tokyo University of the Arts located at 12-8 Uenokoen, which is about a 10-minute walk from the parking area.
