If you are driving, head southeast on Route 1 from the center of Kawachi. Follow the signs for Taito City and Ueno. Once you reach Ueno, look for Uenokoen. The university is located at 12-8 Uenokoen, which is easily spotted as you approach the park area. There is parking available nearby, but be aware of local parking regulations.

To reach the Ueno campus of Tokyo University of the Arts via public transportation, start by taking the train from Kawachi Station. Board the JR Joban Line towards Ueno Station.
