Getting There

  • Car

    If you're driving, take the Nishi-Meihan Expressway and exit at the Nara Interchange. From the interchange, follow Route 369 towards Nara city. Continue on Route 369 for about 10 km until you reach the Kasuganocho area. Look for signs for Kasugayama, as parking may be limited near the base of the mountain.     Start your journey at Nara Station, which is accessible via the JR Yamatoji Line or the Kintetsu Nara Line from Osaka or Kyoto.
