Getting There

    If you're driving from Osaka, take the Hanshin Expressway to the Nishi-Meihan Expressway. Follow the signs towards Nara and take the exit for Nara. From the exit, follow Route 369 towards Zoshicho. Keep an eye out for signs to Kasuganoenchi, which is located near the center of Nara City. Parking is available near the park, but be prepared to pay for parking, which typically costs around 500 yen per hour.

  • Train

    If you prefer public transportation, take the Kintetsu Nara Line from Osaka Namba Station directly to Kintetsu Nara Station. The journey takes about 40 minutes. From Kintetsu Nara Station, it's a 15-minute walk to Kasuganoenchi. Upon exiting the station, head east on Sanjo-dori, then turn left onto Zoshicho. The park entrance will be on your right. Alternatively, you can take a local bus from Kintetsu Nara Station, which costs around 200 yen.

    From Kyoto, you can also take a bus operated by Nara Kotsu. Buses leave from Kyoto Station and arrive at Nara Station in about 1 hour. Once you arrive at Nara Station, you can either walk to Kasuganoenchi, which is about 20 minutes away, or take a local bus as mentioned earlier. The bus fare from Nara Station to the park area is approximately 200 yen.
