Getting There

  • Public Bus

    From Kyoto Station, take bus number 205 towards 'Kawaramachi-Sanjou'. After about 20 minutes, get off at 'Kawaramachi-Oike' bus stop. From there, walk northwest on Oike Street for about 5 minutes until you reach Shikiamicho. Turn left and walk for about 3 minutes to find the Kyoto Shibori Museum at 135−5 Shikiamicho.

    At Kyoto Station, take the Karasuma Line subway towards 'Kokusai Kaikan'. Get off at 'Karasuma Oike Station'. Take exit 1 and head east on Oike Street. Walk for about 10 minutes until you reach Shikiamicho, then turn left and walk for another 3 minutes to reach the Kyoto Shibori Museum.
