    If you're near Kyoto Station, exit the station and head towards the Karasuma Exit. From there, walk to the Karasuma Line subway station and take the subway towards Kokusaikaikan Station. Get off at Shijo Station (about 5 stops). Once you exit Shijo Station, go out from Exit 1. Walk straight for about 5 minutes along Shijo Street, then turn left onto Nishiki Koji Street. Nishiki Market will be on your right.

  • Bus

    From Kyoto Station, take the Kyoto City Bus number 205 or 17 from the bus terminal. Ride for approximately 15 minutes and get off at the Shijo Kawaramachi stop. From the bus stop, cross the street towards the Nishiki Market signage and enter Nishiki Koji Street, where you will find the market.

  • Bicycle

    If you have rented a bicycle, head east on Karasuma Street from Kyoto Station until you reach the intersection with Shijo Street. Turn right onto Shijo Street and continue straight for about 1 kilometer. You will see signs for Nishiki Market on your left. There are bike parking spots available near the market.
