    Getting There

    Train

    From Kyoto Station, take the JR West Line (also known as the JR Kyoto Line) towards Nara. The train ride takes about 5 minutes. Get off at Nishikujo Station. Once you exit the station, turn left onto Nishikujo Ikenouchicho street. Walk straight for about 10 minutes, and you will reach Saifuku-ji Temple on your left.

    Bus

    From Kyoto Station, head to the bus stop located outside the station. Take bus number 26 towards Yamashina. Get off at the Nishikujo Ikenouchicho stop. From there, walk straight for about 5 minutes, and you will find Saifuku-ji Temple on your right.

    Walking

    If you’re staying near Kyoto Station, you can walk to Saifuku-ji Temple. Head southwest on Karasuma-dori street from the station. Continue walking until you reach Nishikujo Ikenouchicho street. Turn left and walk for about 15 minutes. The temple will be on your left.
