If you are starting from Nara Park, head towards Todai-ji Temple. As you approach the Great Buddha Hall (Daibutsuden), you will find a path to the south leading towards the pond. Follow the signs towards Daibutsu-ike Pond, which is located just a short walk from the temple, approximately 10 minutes away.
