If you are driving from central Settsu, head southwest towards the Kyoto region. Take the Route 1 (also known as the Meishin Expressway) and follow the signs toward Kyoto. Once you reach Kyoto, continue on Route 1 until you see signs for Sakyo Ward. Follow the local roads to Eikando Temple located at 48 Eikandocho, Sakyo Ward, Kyoto, 606-8445. Parking may be available nearby, but be prepared for potential fees which may vary.

Public Transportation (Train and Bus)
From Settsu, take the Hankyu Takarazuka Line to Kawaramachi Station. Once you arrive, transfer to the Kyoto City Bus. Look for bus number 204 or 93, which will take you to the Eikando-michi stop. From there, it’s just a short walk to Eikando Temple. Make sure to check the bus schedule as it can vary, and a one-way bus fare will typically cost around 230 yen.

Public Transportation (Subway)
You can take the JR Takarazuka Line from Settsu to Kyoto Station. From Kyoto Station, switch to the Karasuma Subway Line and ride to Marutamachi Station. Exit the station and catch a local bus heading towards Sakyo Ward. Get off at the Eikando-michi stop, and walk to Eikando Temple. The total fare from Settsu to Kyoto Station is approximately 400 yen for the train and about 230 yen for the bus.
