If you are traveling by car, start from Shinano Town. Take Route 18 (also known as the Nagano Road) heading towards Nagano City. When you reach the Togakushi area, look for signs indicating Togakushi-Jinja. You will follow the signs until you arrive at the shrine's main entrance. The full drive takes approximately 30-40 minutes, and parking is available near the shrine, which is free of charge.

Public Transportation (Bus)
For public transportation, take the Nagano Dentetsu bus from Nagano Station to Togakushi. The bus ride takes about 50 minutes. Make sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time as services may vary depending on the day. Once you arrive at the Togakushi stop, it is a short walk to the main entrance of Togakushi-Jinja. The bus fare is approximately 1,200 yen one way.

Train and Bus Combination
You can also reach Togakushi-Jinja by taking a train from Shinano to Nagano (using the JR Shinano line). After arriving at Nagano Station, transfer to the Nagano Dentetsu bus heading to Togakushi. The combined travel time is about 1 hour and 30 minutes, including the train and bus rides. The total cost will be around 1,500 yen, depending on the train and bus connections.
