If you're driving from Zao Onsen, start by heading southeast on Route 457 towards Sendai. Continue along this road for approximately 30 kilometers. After about 25 minutes, you'll pass through a few small towns and scenic landscapes. Follow the signs for Akiumachi Yumoto as you approach Sendai. Once you reach Akiumachi Yumoto, look for Biwaharanishi Street. Akiu Winery will be on your left at Biwaharanishi-6 Akiumachi Yumoto, Taihaku Ward. Parking is available on-site.

Once you arrive at Sendai Station, transfer to the Sendai City Bus (Line 12) heading towards Akiumachi Yumoto. This bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the Akiu Onsen bus stop. From the bus stop, Akiu Winery is a short 10-minute walk; simply head east on the main road, and you will see the winery on your left at Biwaharanishi-6.
