After hiking about 3 miles, you will reach a junction; continue straight to stay on the Grinnell Glacier trail. Follow the trail as it ascends and leads you to Grinnell Lake, where you can take a break and enjoy the views. Continue on the trail for another mile to reach Grinnell Glacier, which will be visible as you approach. The hike typically takes 4-6 hours one way, so plan accordingly.

Begin your hike at Swiftcurrent Motor Inn, located near Many Glacier. From the inn, walk towards the Grinnell Glacier trailhead, which is accessible from the back of the inn.
