Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the Apgar Visitor Center, exit the center and head towards the Apgar Campground. Walk along the main road (Apgar Loop) for about 1 mile, keeping an eye out for the signs that direct you to the Trail of the Cedars. As you approach the intersection with the Going-to-the-Sun Road, cross the road carefully and continue on the paved path leading towards the nature trail. The Trail of the Cedars Nature Trailhead will be on your right after a short walk.

Shuttle
You can take the Glacier National Park Shuttle Service, which operates during the summer season. Board the shuttle at any designated stop within the park. Ensure you are on a shuttle that stops at the 'Trail of the Cedars' stop. The shuttle will drop you off right at the entrance of the Trail of the Cedars Nature Trailhead, making it a convenient option for those not traveling by car.

Biking
If you have a bike, you can cycle from Apgar Village. Head north along the bike path that runs parallel to the Going-to-the-Sun Road. Continue for approximately 3 miles until you reach the Trail of the Cedars Nature Trailhead. There are bike racks available at the trailhead for you to securely park your bike.
