Car
From Whitefish Mountain Resort, start by heading south on Big Mountain Road. Continue on this road for about 5 miles until you reach the junction with US-93 S. Turn right onto US-93 S and continue for approximately 13 miles. At the junction with MT-82 E, take a left onto MT-82 E. This road will lead you directly to the entrance of Glacier National Park. The total driving distance is about 18 miles and will take approximately 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic.

To reach Glacier National Park via public transportation from Whitefish Mountain Resort, you can take the Flathead Lake Shuttle service. First, make your way to the nearest shuttle stop at the Whitefish Depot. The shuttle typically operates several times a day, so check the schedule in advance. The shuttle will take you to West Glacier, which is one of the main entrances to Glacier National Park. The journey takes about 1 hour and costs approximately $25 one way.
