Getting There

  • Tube

    Take the London Underground (Tube) to Charing Cross Station. From the station, follow the signs to the main exit. Once you exit the station, turn left onto Strand. Walk along Strand for about 5 minutes until you reach the junction with Whitehall. Cross over to Whitehall and continue walking straight. You will see Carlton House Terrace on your right side.

    Catch a bus heading towards Trafalgar Square. You can board the bus at any bus stop along the Strand. Once you reach Trafalgar Square, get off and walk towards Whitehall. Turn right onto Whitehall and continue walking until you reach Carlton House Terrace on your left.

    If you are close to Trafalgar Square, you can simply walk to Carlton House. From Trafalgar Square, head south on Whitehall. After a short walk, you will see Carlton House Terrace on your left side. The walk should take less than 10 minutes.

    If you are near Waterloo Station, take the main exit towards York Road. Once outside, head towards the Southbank and walk along the river until you reach Hungerford Bridge.
