Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving from central Sussex, take the A23 towards London. Once you reach the outskirts of London, follow signs for the A3214 towards Westminster. Continue until you reach the roundabout at Trafalgar Square, then take the second exit onto Northumberland Avenue. From there, turn left onto Whitehall and then right onto Waterloo Place where the Sir Keith Park statue is located. Parking is available in nearby car parks, but be prepared for potential parking fees, which can range from £2 to £4 per hour.

• Train

  Take a train from any Sussex station to London Victoria or London Blackfriars. From London Victoria, you can catch the London Underground (Tube) on the Circle or District Line to Westminster Station. From Westminster Station, it's a 10-minute walk to Waterloo Place. Alternatively, from Blackfriars, you can walk approximately 15 minutes to Waterloo Place. Train fares vary, but expect to pay around £15-£30 for a one-way ticket depending on the time of travel.

• Bus

  If you prefer the bus, you can take National Express or other coach services from various locations in Sussex to London Victoria Coach Station. From Victoria Coach Station, you can either walk to the nearest Tube station (Victoria Station) and take the Circle or District Line to Westminster, or walk directly to Waterloo Place, which is about a 20-minute stroll. Coach fares generally range from £5-£15 one way.
