Travel Guide to St Olave's Church, Hart Street

Getting There

• Tube

  If you are near a Tube station, take the District or Circle Line to Tower Hill Station. Once you arrive at Tower Hill, exit the station and head northeast on Tower Hill toward Trinity Square. After a short walk, turn left onto Minories, then continue walking until you reach the Tower of London. From there, head east on the Tower Bridge Road and take a right onto St. Katharine's Way. Continue straight until you reach the river and then walk along the Thames Path. This will lead you to the area around St Olave's Church.

• Bus

  You can also take a bus to the area. Look for bus routes that go to the City of London. For example, you can catch the 15, 25, or 35 buses from various locations around London. Make sure to get off at the stop closest to Fenchurch Street Station. From there, walk south on Fenchurch Street and turn left onto Hart Street, where you will find St Olave's Church at number 8.

• Walking

  If you're already in the City of London, you can walk to St Olave's Church. Start at Monument Station, exit onto Fish Street Hill, and head south. Continue straight onto Monument Street, then take a left onto Fenchurch Street. Walk down Fenchurch Street and turn right onto Hart Street. The church will be located at 8 Hart Street, just a short walk away.

• Riverboat

  For a scenic route, consider taking a riverboat service along the Thames. Board a riverboat at any of the piers along the Thames that connect to the City of London. Get off at Tower Pier, then walk towards the Tower of London, and follow the previous directions to reach St Olave's Church.
