Walking
Start at the Green River Visitor Center located at 1175 W 2nd St. From the Visitor Center, head west on W 2nd St toward N 1st W. Continue on W 2nd St until you reach the intersection with U.S. Highway 89. Cross the highway carefully, and continue walking straight until you reach the Green River. Follow the river to the north until you reach the Green River Recreation Area. From there, look for trails leading westward towards the Klondike Bluffs Trail, which is approximately a 4-mile hike from the Recreation Area.
Biking
Rent a bike from a local rental shop in Green River, such as the Green River Bike Shop located at 123 N 5th W. After renting the bike, head north on N 5th W and take a left on E 1st N. Continue straight until you reach U.S. Highway 89, then turn right. Ride along the highway until you see signs for the Green River Recreation Area. Once there, follow the biking trails westward towards the Klondike Bluffs Trail. The biking route is approximately 4 miles and offers scenic views along the way.
Public Transport
Check local public transport schedules for any available shuttles or buses heading towards the Green River Recreation Area. Start at the Green River Transit Center located at 150 E 3rd S. Board a bus that goes towards the Recreation Area. Once you arrive at the Recreation Area, follow the marked trails leading west to reach the Klondike Bluffs Trail. Make sure to check the return schedule to ensure you can get back to the Transit Center.
