Getting There

Walking
From the central Herat Bazaar, head east towards the main road (Kandahar Road). Walk straight for about 1 km until you reach the intersection with the Herat Citadel on your left. Continue straight for another 500 meters until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the road heading towards the University of Herat. Follow this road for about 2 km, passing by various shops and cafes. You should see signs for STARGUIDE OBSERVATORY as you approach a park area on your right. The observatory will be located just past the park entrance, on the left side of the road.

Public Transport (Bus)
From Herat's main bus station, take a bus heading towards the University of Herat. Ensure to ask the driver to drop you off near the park that is close to STARGUIDE OBSERVATORY. This journey should take about 20 minutes. Once you disembark, walk towards the park entrance, and the observatory will be located just past it on your left.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Herat. Start from the city center and head towards the main road (Kandahar Road). Cycle straight for about 1 km until you reach the intersection with the Herat Citadel.
