Car
If you're driving from Aki, take Route 9 towards Kameoka. Follow the signs for Hozugawa River Boat Ride. The journey takes about 30 minutes. There is parking available near the boarding area, but it may incur a fee of approximately 500 yen.
Public Transportation - Train
From Aki Station, take the JR Sanin Line towards Kameoka Station. The train ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Kameoka Station, exit the station and look for the bus stop just outside. Take bus number 28 or 29 towards Hozugawa River (Hozugawa Kudari). The bus ride will take about 20 minutes. The bus fare is around 300 yen.
Public Transportation - Bus
Alternatively, from Aki, you can take a local bus directly to Kameoka. Check the local bus schedules, as they may vary. Once you reach Kameoka, transfer to bus number 28 or 29 to reach Hozugawa River. Ensure you have some change for the fare, which is around 300 yen.
