Bus
From Nara Station, take the Kintetsu Nara Line to Kyoto Station. At Kyoto Station, transfer to the JR San-in Line bound for Saga-Arashiyama. Get off at Saga-Arashiyama Station. From there, it is about a 15-minute walk to Arashiyama Park Kameyama Area. Exit the station and head west on Arashiyama Station Road, then turn left onto Saga-Toriimoto Preserved Street, which will lead you towards the park.
Train
Take the Kintetsu Nara Line from Kintetsu Nara Station to Kintetsu Kyoto Station. Transfer to the JR San-in Line at Kyoto Station towards Saga-Arashiyama. Disembark at Saga-Arashiyama Station. From the station, walk west on Arashiyama Station Road and follow the signs towards the park. It is approximately a 15-minute walk.
Bicycle
If you are comfortable biking, you can rent a bicycle from various rental shops around Nara. Head towards the Kamo River, follow the river north until you reach the junction with the Hozu River, then follow the river west towards Arashiyama Park. The ride will take around 1 hour, depending on your speed.
Walking
If you are staying in a nearby area and enjoy walking, you can make your way to the park by following the Kamo River north. Walk along the riverbank until you reach the Hozu River, then continue west towards the park. This scenic route will take you around 1.5 to 2 hours but offers beautiful views along the way.
