Walking
From Nara Park, head northwest toward the Nara National Museum. Exit the park and walk towards Sanjo Street (Sanjo-dori). Continue walking along Sanjo Street for approximately 1.5 km until you reach Kintetsu Nara Station. From Kintetsu Nara Station, take the Kintetsu Line to Kyoto Station. Once at Kyoto Station, transfer to the Karasuma Line and take the train to Shijo Station. After arriving at Shijo Station, take Exit 1 and continue walking straight for about 200 meters until you reach the intersection with Hashishitacho. Turn left and walk for another 300 meters; the Pontocho Kaburenjo Theater will be on your right at 130 Hashishitacho.

Start your journey at Nara Park and make your way to Kintetsu Nara Station. You can either walk (about 20 minutes) or take a local bus from the park to the station. Once at Kintetsu Nara Station, board a Kintetsu Limited Express train towards Kyoto. After about 45 minutes, disembark at Kyoto Station. From Kyoto Station, take the Karasuma Subway Line towards Kokusaikaikan and get off at Shijo Station. Exit the station at Exit 1, then walk straight for approximately 200 meters until you reach the intersection with Hashishitacho. Turn left and walk straight for another 300 meters to find the Pontocho Kaburenjo Theater on your right.
