Getting There

  • Public Transport

    From Kyoto Station, take the Karasuma Subway Line (green line) northbound towards Kokusai Kaikan. Get off at Marutamachi Station (approximately 10 minutes). Use Exit 1 to access street level. After exiting, head north on Marutamachi Street for about 10 minutes. You will reach the entrance to the Kyoto Sento Imperial Palace located at Kyotogyoen, Kamigyo Ward.

    From Kyoto Station, take Bus No. 9 or No. 50 from the bus terminal. Get off at the 'Kyoto Gyoen (Kyoto Imperial Garden)' bus stop. Walk towards the entrance of the garden, which leads you directly to the Kyoto Sento Imperial Palace. The walk will take about 5 minutes.
