From Kyoto Station, take the JR Biwako Line (also known as the JR Kosei Line) towards Otsu. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Get off at Otsu Station.

From Otsu Station, exit and look for the bus terminal. Take the Keihan Otsu Line bus heading towards 'Higashi Otsu'. You will want to get off at the 'Ukimido' bus stop, which is about a 10-minute ride.
