Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Gion, head west on Shijo-dori (Shijo Street) towards the Kamo River. Continue walking for about 15 minutes until you reach the intersection with Sanjo-dori (Sanjo Street). At this intersection, turn right onto Sanjo-dori and continue walking for about 5 minutes. You will see the entrance to the Samurai Ninja Museum on your left, located at 292 Higashidaimonjicho, inside the Utanokoji building.

    If you prefer to take public transport, you can walk to Gion-Shijo Station (about 10 minutes from central Gion). From Gion-Shijo Station, take the Keihan Line towards Yodoyabashi. Get off at Sanjo Station (1 stop). Exit the station and walk west for about 5 minutes until you reach the intersection with Sanjo-dori. Turn left and after a short walk, you will see the Samurai Ninja Museum on your left at 292 Higashidaimonjicho.
