If you are in the Higashiyama area, the Kiyomizu-Dera Otowanotaki Falls are within walking distance. Start by heading towards Kiyomizu-dera Temple, which is the main landmark. From the Kiyomizu-dera entrance, walk uphill along the path that leads to the temple. As you approach the temple, follow the signs directing you to Otowanotaki Falls. The falls are located within the temple complex, so you can enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way.

Public Transport
If you are further away in the Higashiyama area, you can take a bus to reach Kiyomizu-Dera. Look for bus number 100 or 206 from the nearest bus stop. Get off at 'Kiyomizu-michi' bus stop. From there, it is a short 10-15 minute walk to the Kiyomizu-dera Temple entrance. Follow the same path mentioned above to reach Otowanotaki Falls.
