If you prefer to take public transport, start by walking to the nearest bus stop, which might be either 'Kiyomizu-michi' or 'Gojo-zaka'. Take bus number 100 or 206, which will take you closer to Kiyomizu-dera. Get off at the 'Kiyomizu-dera' stop. From there, it's a short walk up the hill to the entrance of the temple. The bus fare is typically around 230 yen.
