If you are in the vicinity of Kiyomizu-dera Temple, exit the temple grounds and head north towards Kiyomizu Sannenzaka Street. Continue up the slope, enjoying the traditional wooden buildings along the way. At the top of the slope, you will reach the intersection with Kiyomizu-zaka Street. Turn right and continue straight until you see the Yasaka Pagoda (Hōkan-ji Temple) on your left side. The walk should take about 15-20 minutes.

From Gion-Shijo Station (accessible via the Keihan Line), take bus number 100 or 206 towards Kiyomizu-dera. Get off at 'Kiyomizu-michi' bus stop, which is a short walk away from Yasaka Pagoda. After getting off the bus, head uphill towards the pagoda, which will be visible as you approach. The bus ride will take approximately 10 minutes, and the bus fare is around 230 yen.
