Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, start from the center of Shinano. Take Route 18 heading southwest towards Obuse. Continue on Route 18 for about 20 minutes until you reach Obuse. Once in Obuse, turn right onto Prefectural Route 67. The Takai Kouzan Memorial Hall will be on your left at 805-1 Obuse, Kamitakai District, Nagano. There is parking available near the hall, but please note that parking may incur a small fee.

• Public Transportation - Train

  From Shinano, head to the nearest train station, which is Nagano Station. Take the Nagano Line towards Obuse Station. The train ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Upon arrival at Obuse Station, exit the station and head southwest on Route 18. After about a 15-minute walk, you will reach the Takai Kouzan Memorial Hall located at 805-1 Obuse, Kamitakai District, Nagano.

• Public Transportation - Bus

  Alternatively, from Shinano, take a local bus that heads towards Obuse. Make sure to check the local bus schedule for the specific route as it may vary. After approximately 30 minutes, alight at the 'Obuse' stop. From there, you can walk to the Takai Kouzan Memorial Hall, which is about a 10-minute walk away. Follow the signs or use a map application to navigate. Be aware that the bus fare may vary, so keep some cash handy.
