Walking
From the center of Rabat, head towards Avenue Mohammed V. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Avenue de la République. Turn right onto Avenue de la République and continue walking until you reach the tram station called 'Gare Rabat Ville'. Take tram line 1 towards 'Torretta'. Once you reach the end of the line, disembark at the 'Mdina' stop. From there, it's a short walk to the entrance of Mdina.
Public Transport (Bus)
Starting from the main bus station in Rabat, find the bus line that goes towards Mdina. Look for bus number 21 or 22, which frequently travels to the outskirts of Mdina. After boarding, pay attention to the stops and get off at 'Mdina' stop. The entrance to Mdina is a short walk from the bus stop.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can find a taxi at any taxi stand in Rabat. Tell the driver you want to go to Mdina. It is recommended to agree on a fare before getting in, as taxis may not have meters. The journey should take approximately 30 minutes depending on traffic.
