Getting There

Walking
From the center of Ruhengeri, head south on Avenue du Commerce toward Avenue des Lauriers. Continue straight until you reach the junction at the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Avenue de la Révolution. Follow this road for about 1 kilometer until you reach the bus station.

At the Ruhengeri bus station, look for a bus or shared taxi heading towards Kisoro, Uganda. Confirm with the driver that they will pass through Ntebeko Gate. The journey should take about 1 to 1.5 hours.

Once you arrive at Ntebeko Gate, disembark from the bus. From here, you will need to walk about 1 kilometer to reach Amajambere Iwacu Community Camp. Follow the signs towards Mgahinga National Park. The camp is located just inside the park entrance, so keep an eye out for the signage directing you to the camp.
