Walking
From the center of Carmel-by-the-Sea, head south on Ocean Avenue toward San Carlos Street. Turn left onto San Carlos Street and continue until you reach the intersection with 7th Avenue. Turn right onto 7th Avenue. Follow 7th Avenue as it curves and becomes Scenic Road. Continue walking along Scenic Road until it intersects with Garrapata Trail. At this point, you'll be close to Calla Lily Valley. The entrance to Garrapata State Park, where Calla Lily Valley is located, will be on your right. Follow the trail signs to reach the valley.

Start by walking to the nearest bus stop in Carmel-by-the-Sea. Take the Monterey-Salinas Transit Bus Line 1, heading south. Disembark at the Garrapata State Park stop.
