From the center of Matavera, head west towards the main road (Ara Tapu). Once you reach Ara Tapu, turn left and continue walking towards Avarua. You will pass several shops and local eateries on your way. Keep walking until you reach the roundabout in Avarua. At the roundabout, take the first exit to Avatiu Tapere. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer, and you will see Raro Reef Sub on your right. It's a popular spot, so you should see signs or people around.

If you have rented a bicycle, start from Matavera and head towards the main road (Ara Tapu). Turn left onto Ara Tapu and cycle towards Avarua. This route is quite scenic, and you'll enjoy the views of the ocean on your right. Once you reach the roundabout in Avarua, take the first exit towards Avatiu Tapere. Continue riding straight for about 1 kilometer, and you'll find Raro Reef Sub on your right. Make sure to lock your bike securely once you arrive.

Look for the local bus service that operates in Matavera. Buses run regularly towards Avarua. Board a bus heading to Avarua and inform the driver that you want to get off at Avatiu Tapere. The bus will drop you off near the roundabout, from where you will need to walk about 1 kilometer straight along Avatiu Tapere. Raro Reef Sub will be on your right.
