From the center of Matavera, head west towards the main road (Ara Tapu). Once you reach Ara Tapu, turn left and continue walking towards Avarua. You will pass several shops and local eateries on your way. Keep walking until you reach the roundabout in Avarua. At the roundabout, take the first exit to Avatiu Tapere. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer, and you will see Raro Reef Sub on your right. It's a popular spot, so you should see signs or people around.

If you have rented a bicycle, start from Matavera and head towards the main road (Ara Tapu). Turn left onto Ara Tapu and cycle towards Avarua.
